I am still alive, but so tired!

I haven't been posting on here in a while (ok, maybe eight days is more than a while) but I have a really good excuse, I promise!  You see, I've been working in my yard.  It's been a work in progress since the first year we moved in.  The previous owners weren't so good with yard care, and so we've been pulling it into shape.  This is the first year where I've been able to plant new flowers, and I'm loving it!

Last weekend I put in my veggie garden, and it looks awesome!  Check it out:

    Those flowers are gorgeous! Especially the bright red tulips! Beautiful!

    What is the flower in the last picture?!!? It is gorgeous and I have never seen anything like it! (watch it be some everyday flower and I just am crazy!)

    As for the garden, I am COMPLETELY jealous of the strawberries and grapes! The only fruit we have is on trees and they probably won't produce until next season because we just put them in the ground last year.

    Ah, thanks for the comments! The flower in the last picture is a parrot tulip. I think they are such pretty flowers! I couldn't resist grabbing my camera when I saw this one covered in rain. I love photography!

    Your garden looks yummy! Mine is so sadly neglected and will stay that way since it's too late now with the crazy Texas summer looming. Guess there's always next year!
